The FLEXY P edgebander in addition to the full cabin and the two sawblades end-trim, it adds the pre-milling unit equipped with HF engines and adjustable pneumatic pressure with the aim to obtain a perfect smooth panel before the gluing process.

Panels: Particle board, plywood, MDF... from 8 to 50mm thick.

Edges: Melamine, PVC, ABS, PP, wood, formica, acrylic... 0,4 to 2mm in rolls.

Adhesives: Hot melt EVA and PUR (optional).

Equipment: High frecuency motors controlled by independent electronic inverters, pre-milling, gluepot, end trim, top & bottom trim and PLC controlled by a colour LCD touch screen.

All versions of this series allow the installation of buffing units and glue scraper as optional groups on the end of the machine.

FEEDING STATION

Timer controlled automatic feed allowing the precise adjustment of the in-feed surplus and minimizing the waste of edging material. Pneumatic pre-cut guillotine (fit for PVC/ABS edges of up to 3 mm thickness).

PRE-MILLING STATION

It is powered by two HF motors. One has a 1,1 kW (1.5hp) motor, rotating CW and the second has 0,75 kW(1 hp), rotating CCW. Both motors have pneumatic pressure control and provide optimum finish.

Milling heads with welded DIA bits. The standard tooling specifications is: ø60 ø20 H30 (1.18”) Z6;

GLUE POT UNIT

New design with improved thermodynamics, granting a shorter heating time with less power consumption.

Automatic temperature control by electronic thermostat preventing the scorching of the glue when the machine is idle.

Full TEFLON® coating of the whole assembly.

END TRIMMING STATION

TOP AND BOTTOM TRIMMING STATION

This station has 2 separate units for trimming off the excess edging material along the upper and the lower edges of the panel.

It has horizontal and vertical tracers with SIKO digital readouts for easy and precise adjustment.

The two independent units are equipped with milling cutters. It also includes roller type tracers for work with high gloss and 3D effect panels and edges.
