Jowat 686-25 PUR Hotmelt Adhesive
Application:
Used for assembly of exterior grade wood products where a waterproof bond is needed. Bonds a wide variety of substrates like stone, ceramics, metals, etc..
Characteristics/ Directions for use:
Jowapur 686.25 moisture curing polyurethane adhesives are superior, low foaming,
exterior-grade adhesives. 100% WATERPROOF. Professional grade, exceeds TYPE I.
ASTM D-2559 Bond Quality. Solid content 100%
Surfaces must be clean, dust free and tight fitting. This adhesive hardens by reacting
with moisture. Lightly dampen dry surface with water. For dense hardwoods like oak or
maple, lightly dampen both surfaces 5 minutes prior to gluing. Spread Jowapur 686.25
polyurethane adhesive on opposite side. If necessary, spread with trowel or foam roller.
Avoid skin contact as this adhesive temporarily stains skin. Replace cap. Clamp objects
or apply high pressure for recommended clamp period. Slight foaming may occur.
Remove excess with a scraper

Cleaning: Clean excess fresh adhesive with denatured alcohol or thinner. Semi-hardened
adhesive is easily removed with a scraper. Sanding should be done after adhesive is
cured.
Storage: May be stored in properly closed original containers, cool and dry (15-25°C (59-77°F)). Best before date, please see container label. Protect from moisture
